Title Mobilization of reference specimens data on the Apocyaceae family owned by CNARP for conservation, sustainable use and decision making in Madagascar

Study Area Description Invasives alien species and endangered species were the two firsts of the 8 priority areas defined by the ACM in its WP 2015-2016. In this regard, the consortium retained 8 families of each category for the project. the Anacardaceae family was one of the endangered priority family

Sampling Methods

All of the Anacardiaceae familiy specimens from the herbarium were digitized. Those specimens were collected from the Malagasy territory

Study Extent The digitization program concerns all specimens of the targeted families owned by CNARP. Those specimens were collected from the Malagasy territory
Quality Control Before publishing, the nomenclature was checked and updated with Catalogue of life, Tropicos database and/or IPNI, we used the OpenRefine tool as well to clean the data
