This collection concerns mainly plants, within the family, with medicinal properties or used in traditional medicine, but it does not exclude other sympatric species.
These data were extracted from the four collections of reference specimens on medicinal plants deposited at the CNARP herbarium: http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medicinal_plants_orstom_cnarp&v=1.0, http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_cnarp&v=1.0, http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_nci_cnarp&v=1.0 and http://ipt.madbif.mg/resource?r=medecinal_plants_icbg_cnarp&v=1.1
